Peter J. de Visser, B.Comm., C.A.
Peter, a graduate of the University of British Columbia, articled with a predecessor
accounting firm of KPMG and is currently a member of the Technical Forum of the BC Institute
of Chartered Accountants to the British Columbia Securities Commission. He has acted on a
contract basis as Chief Financial Officer for a TSX listed gold producer, during which time
that company acquired and financed its mine. Peter has also consulted in connection with the
reorganization, reclamation and wind-up of two past producing gold mines.
James D. Gray, B.A., C.A.
A native of Port Moody, Jim graduated from Simon Fraser University and the BC
Institute of Technology and articled with Burnaby’s HLB Cinnamon, Jang, Willoughby & Co.
prior to qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1997. After joining DeVisser & Company
the same year, Jim became an Associate in 2000 and a full partner in 2001. Jim completed
the academic qualifications for the U.S. CPA designation in the State of Illinois in 1999,
and the two-year In-Depth Tax Course offered by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants
in 2002. Jim oversees DeVisserGray’s corporate and personal tax compliance services, and acts
as the firm’s personnel partner. In a volunteer capacity, Jim currently serves as Treasurer of
both the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia
and the Vancouver Recreational Softball League,
and is a founding director of Geoscience BC, an applied research NGO formed in 2005 and funded with an initial $25 million
grant from the Province of British Columbia.
